About Brewery Lofts

Despite the name, this seven-storey concrete building was never a brewery. Built as a warehouse in 1956, it spent decades as the CBC's television design centre before Sorbara turned it into large, open lofts. Fourteen-foot ceilings, massive columns and full-height windows give the suites a scale rarely found elsewhere in the city.

What defines the building

  • concrete mushroom columns
  • polished concrete floors
  • floor-to-ceiling windows
  • oversized freight elevator
  • rooftop deck
